How does authentication work?

OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. Modern clients detect it automatically and complete with a browser sign-in. You never paste a token.

How is it different from the REST API?

Both cover the same surface (posts, scheduling, media, assets, analytics, accounts, labels, signatures). The REST API is for code you wrote. MCP is for a natural-language agent calling those same operations on your behalf.

Can I see what my AI agent is doing?
